Each piece is woven by hand from rattan, cane, kauna grass, seagrass or water hyacinth, and every basket comes with its own matching cover.

Materials and Weaves
A cane basket with lid has a crisp, even pattern that looks neat on open shelves. A rattan lidded basket offers a rounder, chunkier texture. Are these suitable for storing food?
Most are made for household storage. Our covered bread basket is intended for serving; for other designs, use a liner with loose food.
Why does cane look finer than rattan?
Cane is the thin outer skin of the rattan vine, so it weaves into tight, delicate patterns. The whole rattan stem is thicker and gives a rounder weave.
How do I stop a lidded basket from smelling musty?
Keep it in a dry spot, open the lid now and then to let air move through, and never close it over damp items.
